WetnWild brushes, are they worth it?

March 26, 2016

Hi everyone and welcome back to another blog post. Today I will be talking about WetnWild brushes. I have mentioned them before in my blog posts but here I will be doing a full review!

WetnWild have a very extensive line of brushes. They have a; blush brush, contour brush, foundation brush, small stiple brush, flat top brush, powder brush, fan brush, concealer brush, small eyeshadow brush, large eyeshadow brush and a crease brush.

Out of all these, I have purchased the flat top brush, powder brush, fan brush, concealer brush and all the eyeshadow brushes.

I didn't bother purchasing the blush brush, contour or foundation brush as I don't use blush so I thought I wouldn't ever use it. The contour brush looked like an elf brush I already have and I already have a contour brush that I love! Foundation brushes I don't really care for especially my Real Techniques one (I haven't used it in so long!).

The Flat top brush has become my go to for putting on my foundation and my bb cream. It blends the product so flawlessly and I just love how the foundation/bb cream turns out. I feel like it's so much better that the beauty blender I have been using. It's so nice to switch it up sometimes. I love this brush so much that I bought another one!

I have been using the powder brush to apply the Essence translucent powder. These brushes are so soft and it distributes the product so nicely. It doesn't cake up and the brushes are large enough to sweep the product down and all over.

The fan brush is so good at getting my glow on. I honestly think it's better than my Anastasia Beverly Hills A23 brush. Which is crazy! I know. I felt like I had to dip my ABH brush into my highlighter so many times to get the desired glow that I wanted. However, with the WnW brush I don't have to dip  it into my highlighter a lot of times and BAM that glow shows up.

The concealer brush is one I still have yet to try but the bristles feel really nice. I will end up using it when I have a concealer that I actually want to use.

Now, the small eyeshadow brush. I don't like this one at all. The bristles are very very stiff. It didn't apply the product as expected and really let me down. For about 99c I can get over it.

The large eyeshadow brush was so much better than the small one. It was way more easier to use and applied the product beautifully. It wasn't nearly as stiff and the bristles were nice and soft.

Last but not least we have the crease brush. This blended the eyeshadow beautifully and this was exactly what I was looking for in a crease brush! This doesn't compare to the Real Techniques Eye Set. I feel like this 99c brush goes above and beyond the RT brush, which is crazy!

In conclusion, I really like these brushes and I'd highly recommend grabbing some of these brushes! The price range is from 99c to $2.99. Which is an absolute steal when they are better than some makeup brushes that are already on the market and valued at a higher price! These brushes are also vegan if you're interested in vegan products.

Thanks for reading and have a great weekend!
